A lot of times, people have to make taxing decisions about what they can buy and what can wait until some other time.
I have constantly been in that situation.
I have never had much extra currency at the end of each week, and I often had to turn to credit cards to get through life. I have not used credit to buy anything since I purchased my used car about more than five years ago, though. I now have a salary and a side hustle that allow myself and others to live within my means most of the time. In fact, I am paying off the debt now. Now that I have a fantastic amount of income, I also don’t have to put off things I used to have to do separate from. For example, tires on the car. In the past, I would have to wait until I had a blowout before I could get current tires; Also, when the a/c broke in the car, I lived separate from it. I had no a/c in my car for 5 years, and residing separate from the a/c was angry, let myself and others tell you. Also, doing preventive repair was precious back in those afternoons, but when the Heating & A/C in the house went out, we would call in the heating and cooling repair dealer, and they would constantly recommend we purchase a heating and cooling annual repair contract, but we never had the currency. Now, because I think that Heating & A/C repair is wise, I have that yearly Heating & A/C tune-up agreement. I have a little extra currency and I choose to spend a little of it to make sure that the heating and cooling is well serviced. It is less likely to malfunction this way, and those 100 degree afternoons can be combated with my smoothly running a/c. If the a/c should happen to cut down one afternoon, the Heating & A/C agreement also allows myself and others to have first option when it comes to repair calls.
