Grandfather informed us someone stole his outdoor AC

Though the old town had changed, my Grandfather was adamant he didn’t want to move. He enjoyed his old new home and would rather stay put, but my Mom was always concerned about him because the section was insecure. There had been numerous cases of break-ins, but the police didn’t have several leads, and despite this, my Grandfather resisted all proposals from my parents to come to live with us. Last week, Grandfather was the victim of a crime. Someone had come into his backyard and stolen his outdoor air conditioner unit. His lake house was hot, and he wanted us to help him out. The first thing Mom did was rush over to make sure he was okay; Without the outdoor Heating, Ventilation, and A/C, the central cooling unit wasn’t functioning. So he informed myself and others to go to town and buy Grandfather a portable AC. That way, he could cool the lake house room by room. I knew from his tone, Mom had tried to convince Grandfather to come with him, but he refused. It was easier to get him the cooling system rather than make him leave his home. I went online and found an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C vendor selling a portable cooling system. It was a smart aircon which I concerned would be a challenge for Grandfather. He wasn’t a important fan of technology. However, when he saw the cooling unit, he was stoked. He asked myself and others to attach it and show him how to operate the digital temperature control. I downloaded the app on his PC and guided him. It took numerous tries for him to learn. I opted to activate the temperature sensor that made it easier to operate the quality Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. Mom left, but I decided to spend the night and rewatch some old films. I was content by how efficient the new AC plan was.
