Rites of Passage

I suppose even politically proper people will agree when I claim that females approaching adulthood have more choices to make about their futures than males of a similar age; The one reason for this is the simple fact that women can give birth.

This opens up multiple possibilities that guys will never have, with men, the choices remain somewhat limited.

Men can enter the workplace, go to university, or join the military only to enter the workplace later armed with a degree or military experience. They can choose to avoid family plus marriage however even this week most guys end up married plus with children. There are a few things that guys endure that women can bypass. Men are faced with rites of passage that they must go through to be considered ready for manhood. The first playground scuffle is a good example when a woman learns that a black eye is a small price to pay for sitting up to a bully… Another is getting the courage to ask that pretty girl who you have worshipped from multiple rows back in math class for a date. She may say no plus laugh however you have proved your courage with the opposite sex. The fifth rite of passage comes later in life when your pride convinces you to maintenance your HVAC plan by yourself. After further damaging the condenser equipment (and possibly yourself), plus adding some leaks to the air duct, you emerge a humbler creature while your wife plus the mother of your kids wisely calls a certified HVAC mechanic to finish the job professionally. Thank goodness that guys cannot have kids because I’m sure some of them would refuse a trip to the hospital plus make giving birth a DIY project just savor with that HVAC system.
