I was watching a cartoon the other day.
They had epitomized all the horror stories I had study about shared Heating and A/C systems.
I was consistently reading articles about how there was only a single control equipment in a big room with several workers. Everyone was trying to take each other out so they could have their own personal setting on the control unit. I couldn’t imagine anything worse than sharing a Heating and A/C system with only a single control unit. That was until I worked in an office setting. The people I was with and I didn’t have a shared control unit. The control equipment in this office building was run by the owner of the building. He had the control equipment set so he could save money on the heating and a/c. There were several times when the office manager was calling for Heating and A/C repair. When the Heating and A/C tech arrived, he would tell him that there was nothing wrong with the Heating and A/C system. The a single time he contacted the landlord, he said the heating was fine, even though he didn’t suppose we needed more heat. He just thought the workers needed to labor harder and expend the energy needed to make their own heat. I had never heard of a more miserable guy than this. He was entirely kneeling at home laughing because he was raking in the big bucks while we froze. After a year, our corporation moved to another building that was owned by someone else. Our office manager told the people who were thinking about taking over the space, how miserly the owner was with the Heating and A/C. They chose to transfer their operations into another building.
