The hotel wasn’t nearly as nice as what was pictured

My husband plus I visited a hotel this year for our anniversary.

We took the children to my parents plus they spent the whole course of the weekend with them, and my husband made a reservation at a hotel in the city.

It was fairly close to the museum plus the aquarium plus my husband had the desire to visit both of those locations on our weekend in the city. My husband showed me numerous photographs of the hotel plus the pictures looked wonderful. We had a private balcony with a table plus a couple of chairs. We had a garden tub in the powder room plus a separate shower. We even had our own kitchen environment with pots, pans, silverware, plus plates. The room looked completely modern plus sophisticated, so I did not even mind spending $300 a night for the hotel. When my husband and I checked into the hotel, the two of us easily could tell that the online pictures were taken a number of years ago or more. The hotel particularly appeared to be rundown plus the lobby was not as enjoyable as the pictures. My husband plus I were also pretty disappointed by our actual room. We had a garden tub in the powder room, but none of the Jets even worked. Our private balcony was approximately 3 ft in width plus 3 feet in length. The Heating plus Air Conditioning appliance was the worst section about the entire room. It was an older wall machine with both heat plus AC. My husband plus I could easily smell something like rotten eggs every time the A/C appliance turned on. We did not even bother to make a formal complaint about the indoor air conditions or the broken tub in the room. We basically just left the next afternoon.
