The hotel was awful and not like the pictures

My wifey and I went to a hotel this year for our anniversary.

The two of us took the youngsters to my parents and they spent the whole weekend with them.

My wifey made a reservation at a hotel in the city, however it was close to the museum and the aquarium and my wifey had the desire to visit both of those locations on our weekend in the city. My wife showed me photographs of the hotel and the pictures looked stunning. The two of us had a private balcony with a table and some chairs. The two of us had a garden tub in the bathroom and a separate shower. The two of us even had our own kitchen space with pots, pans, silverware, and plates. The room looked entirely new and sophisticated, so I didn’t mind spending $300 a night for the hotel. When my wifey and I checked into the hotel, we easily could tell that the online pictures were taken several years ago or more. The hotel actually looked somewhat rundown and the lobby was not as fancy as the pictures. My wifey and I were also disappointed by our room. The two of us had a garden tub in the bathroom, but none of the Jets were even working. Our private balcony was 3 ft in width and 3 feet in length. The Heating and A/C device was the worst thing about the entire room. It was an older wall device with both heat and AC. My wife and I actually smelled rotten eggs every time the AC device turned on. The two of us didn’t even bother to complain about the indoor air conditions or the broken tub in the room. The two of us simply left the next afternoon.
