I did not argue with the customer about the installation task

I waited until it was actually lunch to help a patron with installation work! The people I was with and I do not regularly start work assignments so late in the day, however this was a pretty rare occasion. The patron tried to install the compact boiler on his own, although he was having some trouble with the work. When the guy called the heating and air conditioner company for help, he told our boss that he was actually halfway finished with the installation. The compact boiler installation task most often takes most of the day, however the patron was half done so it didn’t seem to be an issue starting the task after I was finished with my lunch. I easily thought the installation task would take only a few short hours to complete, so I didn’t mind going to the property to help with the work. When I arrived at the property of the customer, I was amazed by the amount of work that needed to be handled on the compact boiler installation. I told the patron that there was a ton of work to complete and I gave the guy an estimate for my services. When the patron saw the bill for the compact boiler installation, he became worried and disappointed. He honestly tried to tell me that the task would only take a few hours at the most to have finished. I absolutely didn’t want to argue with the patron about the compact boiler installation, although I couldn’t budge on the actual estimate. I easily realized it was going to take the whole day to have the work finished. I didn’t finish the installation task until it was late in the night and the patron thought I would be done in a few short hours.
