Wedding with no air conditioner is a mistake

This past summer, my sibling got married.

She insisted on an outdoor ceremony. She found an old barn that had been converted into a arena. The location was absolutely elegant. There were wildflowers, willow trees, a wooden dock & a pressing lake with a family of ducts. I cautioned my sibling that the weather in our local section is undoubtedly unpredictable. There was a chance of rain, high wind, sleet & excessive humidity. I suggested she find a arena with indoor accommodations that included central heating & cooling. She was adamant in her choice. While the afternoon of her ceremony was perfectly clear & sunny, it was also horribly hot, then by 9 o’clock in the afternoon, the temperature had climbed into the eighties. We got dressed & had our hair, makeup & nails done in an air conditioned hotel room. We rode to the arena in an air conditioned limousine. As soon as every one of us stepped outside, the whole ceremony party started to sweat, however none of us thought to put on sunblock, so every one of us all ended up with sunburns. One of the groomsmen got stung by a bee. While there was some shade inside the barn, there was no relief from the heat & humidity. It would have been undoubtedly helpful to have access to a thermostat. Instead, the cake melted & most of the guests left early. As soon as we’d fulfilled our obligations, most of the ceremony party headed to a nearby bar where there was live music & air conditioner. Looking at the pictures from the ceremony, every one of us all look miserable.
