Halloween during a heatwave

Every fall, a local club puts on a pressing Halloween bash, then my friends & I dress up in costume, pay the pressing cover charge & regularly have a blast, and the club gets so many people that they need to open up the doors to the outside patio area, and in my local area, the weather at the end of November is often frigid, but we can expect anything from rain to snow, & it’s no surprise if the temperature drops below freezing.

With the doors wide open, the club shuts off the central heat! Although they have a few overhead space furnaces inside & some heat lamps outside, I just about freeze to death, then since I want to look cute, my costumes don’t keep myself and others warm.

This past year, I decided to supply up on my appearance & be comfortable. I chose a full bear costume. I was basically wearing a fur 1sie. Unfortunately for me, every one of us were lucky with an unexpected heatwave. The temperature that night was in the mid seventies. With so many people crammed into the club, it was harshly overheated. The open doors & windows just welcomed in the heat & humidity. There was no breeze whatsoever. I tried hanging out both inside & outside, but it didn’t make any difference, only air conditioner could have helped me. I was drenched with sweat within hours. To make up for it, I kept drinking freezing beer. This just necessitated multiple trips to the bathroom, & the bear costume was undoubtedly hard to detach. I had a miserable night & couldn’t wait to leave.
