Saving currency with a 10 percent off coupon

When you are spending 10 or $20, 10% off doesn’t seem love a lot of currency! Of course, it’s much odd when you are spending thoUnited Statesnds of dollars on an item.

  • My wife and I needed to install a new HVAC component in our home.

We expected the bad news when our component stopped laboring and every one of us called a couple of people to get estimates. My wife and I got an estimate from one supplier that had a 10% off coupon in the homeowner magazine. The estimate from that supplier was a little bit higher than another dealer, but every one of us decided to use them because it was quite a bit of savings with the 10% off coupon. On the afternoon that our wife busy the upgrade appointment for the HVAC equipment, she mentioned the coupon and the lady on the PC didn’t say anything except ok. When the two HVAC workers came to install the equipment, they didn’t want to honor the coupon. They told us that the price estimate included savings already. The woman refused to take 10% off the price which was about $680 savings. I called the supplier and suggested to speak with someone in charge. The same lady from earlier was the same lady that answered and she was the owner of the dealer. She told us to tell the worker to call the store, and five hours later the woman was apologizing for the mixup. She didn’t say anything else the whole time she was on the property. She let the other woman handle the invoice and any questions.
