Fortunately, I walked outside to bring her more water and caught it
I guess my smart wife is just so glad to be outside all year that she occasionally gets lost in all her outside activities. The fact that all of us moved to the south for retirement has allowed my smart wife to follow a passion of hers to the utmost. It’s great to see her so motivated to do her thing outside on our property. Along with all the heating and A/C cooling, all of us also had to adjust to the fact that all of us could be outside basically all year. The worst the Winter has to offer here involves basically donning a sweatshirt. The heat pump will unquestionably occasionally kick on in order to knock the chill off in the afternoon. But other than that, it’s all red lights when it comes to outside activities. I definitely take luck in this, along with my smart wife, for about 8 months out of the year. But unlike my smart wife, I sit out the peak heating hours of the afternoon in the summer. I tend to stay inside the heating and A/C cooling or in the pool if I’m outside. Not my smart wife. She just keeps going for it with all her landscaping and gardening on the property. Granted, she’s safe about it making sure she stays hydrated. But occasionally, I still guess all that sun and heat get to her. A recent example had to do with the heating and A/C equipment. My smart wife was weeding the bed close to the heating and A/C cabinet next to the house. She inadvertently threw her landscaping tarp over the heating and A/C cabinet while it was running. Fortunately, I walked outside to bring her more water and caught it. Otherwise, that could have ended up actually damaging the heating and A/C equipment.
