Sunburn made me feel continuously hot

I was looking forward to summertime coming around.

Summer is my favorite season because I like the sunny weather, lots of plant life and all of the activities that go on during the summertime.

The only bad thing about summertime is the fact that it can get honestly hot, honestly fast. It could start out cool and then only a few hours later the temperatures would already be in the 90s. On a recognizably warm day, I was invited out by my friends to go to the pool. I briefly considered staying in the air conditioned comfort of my home, but I decided against it. The pool should be enough to keep me cool, and I would get to hang out with my friends. I grabbed my favorite bathing suit and a few pool floats and headed off. I had a good time with my friends and sure enough the pool absolutely cooled me down. My friends and I played many games including water sports and in general had a blast. While I was having an enjoyable time with my friends, I had forgotten one crucial thing, and that was sunscreen! By the end of the day, I was as red as a lobster! I went back home and sat next to the A/C. The bad thing about having a sunburn is that the heat stays with you, so even though I was literally right next to my cooling unit, I still felt like I was out in the sun! Perhaps I should have stayed in my air conditioning home, or at least remembered to take sunscreen.
