How several times do I need to call the Heating & A/C company?

Two weeks ago, I called the Heating & A/C company because there was something wrong with the a/c unit. The Heating & A/C tech who came to the home looked at the a/c component & within more than four hours, he said there wasn’t anything wrong. He handed us the bill for the service call & left. Three mornings later, the people I was with and I called the Heating & A/C company for the hour time. The same Heating & A/C serviceman showed up, & he did the same thing. Every one of us have now called twice more in less than many weeks. Except for the seventh time, the people I was with and I had the same Heating & A/C serviceman come to the house. Every one of us knew he would spend more than four hours at the AC unit, & then he would bill us for the service call. The last young guy came to the home & serviced the a/c unit. It took him almost half an hour before he said the problem was that the people I was with and I needed a current a/c unit. At least the people I was with and I had a current diagnosis for the AC unit. I wasn’t gratified that it was the problem, but I accepted it at that time. It wasn’t until I had an older & more seasoned Heating & A/C tech come to the house, that the people I was with and I got a diagnosis of the AC component that I accepted. He told us exactly what was wrong with the AC unit. He said it could be repaired, however it was his opinion that it would be less pricey & less concernsome, to just have a current a/c component installed. I loved what he said, & the people I was with and I agreed with his opinion. It took many mornings before the people I was with and I could have the AC component replaced, however once it was done, our a/c was better than what the people I was with and I had in the last many years.
