Our attic HVAC duct is fine for the cooling system because freezing air sinks, although I would never want to use it for a oil furnace love some do.
Despite their quarks & behavioral complications, I love both of our pets to death. They’re rambunctious golden retrievers that are both teeming over with love & affection. It’s hard to explain the joy I get when I walk in the door from labor each night & get greeted by them running to myself and others with beaming smiles on their faces. My wife jokes with myself and others that the pets miss myself and others the most whenever one of us is out of the house. However, the several of them are inseparable & keep each other no matter who’s at lake home at any given moment. They run, play, & sleep next to one another in several arenas around the house. Their favorite arenas to sleep in Fall & Winter are next to the floor vents for our central oil furnace. Since both of us have a basement, our HVAC duct for our central oil furnace is below the floor & hanging from the ceiling down below. Not only does it make service & repair easier, however since heat rises it’s also more economical & efficient than attic ventilation. Our attic HVAC duct is fine for the cooling system because freezing air sinks, although I would never want to use it for a oil furnace love some do. That’s fine because our pets would miss the sizzling floor vents anyway. Occasionally they’re literally kneeling on top of them & blocking the air flow! I’ll start to feel freezing in our lake family room & then I look over & see one of our pets passed out on the floor vent. I feel I’d do the same thing if I was a pet living in a home with oil furnace vents on the floor.
