The two units also have differences in mechanisms, then manufacturing & replacement of commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems are modular, while residential systems are manufactured as standalone systems; Due to the modular nature of commercial systems, all the components are housed together, allowing easy service & replace! Residential units have split parts between the outdoors & the indoors, making it difficult to modify or expand them, however in essence you can not install a commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system in your residential apartment.
