I thought the hotel pool room was chilly

My friend and I went to see some friends last weekend and we stayed in a hotel room.

We decided to get a room with two beds, so we didn’t have to each pay for a room.

The two of us spent $40 each and we ended up with a nice suite and separate queen size beds. My friend and I chose a really nice hotel room with an indoor pool. I thought it would be a great way to exercise in the morning before we started our day. We also got a free hot breakfast which was a great perk. The first morning, I put on my swim trunks and I took the elevator to the main level. I wanted to swim a bit before the breakfast service started. I walked to the area where the in-ground pool is located. I knew the pool was heated, and I certainly expected the room to be heated as well. Unfortunately, I felt a blast of cold air as I opened up the doors to the room where the pool was located. I couldn’t find the thermostat anywhere in the room. It was downright chilly, but the water was warm. I took a swim for about thirty minutes, but getting out of the pool was a bone-chilling experience. When my friend and I left for the day, I asked the desk clerk if the pool area was heated and he told me that normally it is, but the heater had been broken for two weeks. They were still waiting for a repair person to fix the issue.
