The perfect idea, at the best time, with the perfect amount of exposure, can lead to some entirely special results. Case in point, my friend’s 9 year old sibling chose to start a Go Fund Me to raise money for a local park… The playground had been shut down for renovations approximately a year ago, which honestly got delayed because of COVID and then again due to budget setbacks. This girl sincerely wanted to skip all of the red tape, bypass the local government, and just raise the money to renovate the park with a solid grassroots campaign, and damned if she didn’t double her goal! Next she was able to convince a local construction supplier to assist her with doing the job at a lessened rate. This was pretty smart if you ask me, because construction is honestly never cheap. These men are completely skilled workers who don’t work for a low wage. The girl hatched the idea of what a good PR move it would be for the construction business, and she would use it to get them free advertising altogether. She definitely was true to her word, and on the first day on construction the girl had a local news reporter out covering the build. The owner of the construction supplier was praised a good amount for his community service provided and his whole supplier came out looking completely like a million bucks. The local kids ended up with a new park, the construction supplier saw a huge raise in business, and the girl seems composed for a tremendous job in politics. I seriously wonder what she will do when she is a great deal older and smarter.
