Some people have a serious aversion to any sort of homeowner’s or home association.
They’d rather lose thoUSnds in property value by residing near neighbors with garbage in their yards plus chipping paint on their homes.
Sure, there are plenty of HOAs who overstep their authority in trying to police their residents. However, I have had a few nice experiences with HOAs plus home associations in the past. I lived in a rented home for many years plus had a better experience compared to any up-to-date home complex I have stayed in before or after. The property supervisor consistently sent their service team as soon as there was a problem of any kind. The air conditioners were maintained consistently, the lawn outside never got taller than 3 inches, plus the buildings were repainted once every 3 to four years. As a whole, it was a great locale to live for 7 years. But after I was forced to transfer for work, I’m finding that I don’t love our up-to-date residing accommodations. I was laid off from our last job plus hastily searched for up-to-date work in the security industry. I’m a call dispatcher for security companies, although I had to leave our state when work in our industry started to dry up. Some of the work is getting outsourced overseas, so I had no option but to make serious compromises. Part of that was settling for a short term rental while I transition into our up-to-date job. My month to month rental isn’t as nice as our last condo, but they have accommodations love a swimming pool plus an indoor fitness room.
