No point in putting away space heaters, warmth won’t last

Periodically I’m pretty sure that I’m not right in the head! Especially when I make the same mistakes over & over again.

Every calendar year I know enjoy I fall for the same universal joke.

I do not believe when I am going to catch on & finally cut out all the disappointment that I bring on myself. However, for the past 25 years or so I have had the same idiotic enthusiasm every Springtime when every one of us first get a few mornings of hot air. After a long, freezing Winter time there will inevitably be a few mornings when the outdoor air temperature becomes unseasonably hot around March. Out of nowhere, the outdoor temperature will take a turn for warmer mornings. The fresh, hot air that comes blowing through the region always makes myself and others think that a solid Springtime is on its way. Hurray! Surely, our freezing mornings are over & I can look forward to lower utility bills & outdoor comfort. That’s right about when I power down the forced air oil furnace & call our heating, cooling, & ventilation worker for a professional heating, cooling, & ventilation inspection on the unit. It’s also when I pack up all our space heating systems & throw them into the attic. About a week later, you’ll find myself and others digging all of those portable heating devices back out of storage when the outdoor air temperature returns to ice freezing normalcy & the beach house is cold. I won’t want to use the recently-ran tests on oil furnace, so I’ll need those damn portable heating devices back at our freezing feet again. And I’ll do it all over again next year.
